
Jayam Ravi starrer 'Peraanmai', which had a low key release three weeks ago, has picked up momentum and is on its way to become a hit.
The film, directed by Jananathan, has collected about Rs 2 crore from Chennai alone and crowds at the theatres are steadily growing, say reports.
The film, made at a huge budget, tells the story of a forest officer, who with the help of five NCC cadets, saves the nation from the evil designs of a terrorist group. In between, the film makes a strong statement on the social evils prevailing amongst us.
Happy with the acceptance of the film at the boxoffice, producers Ayngaran International and the film crew plan to thank their fans by touring the state. Hollywood star Roland Kickinger, who plays the villain in the film, will be a part of the team.
