Kamal Haasan is all set to team up with veteran director Balu Mahendra for a quickie, says our Kollywood source.
Kamal is busy planning his magnum opus, supposedly on the Sacred relic of Buddha's Tooth, to be directed by Mysskin. The Balu Mahendra film would be completed fast before shooting for his big budget period movie, reports our source.
The talented cinematogapher-director had sounded Kamal on a script hearing which the actor was excited and gave his consent on the spot, it is reported. Kamal bagged the National Award for the Best Actor for his performance in Balu's 'Moondram Pirai'. Later, they teamed upto make a super comedy film in 'Sathi Leelavathi'.
Kamal Haasan's latest release 'Unnai Pol Oruvan' is still running to packed theatres in Tamil Nadu.
