Speclulations over Kamal Haasan's next magnum opus, reportedly based on the quest for the "Sacred Relic of Lord Buddha's Tooth", have already become a pet topic of discussion in Kollywood.
Director Mysskin spoke about the film the other day in Chennai, but his words on the film made it look more mysterious than before.
He said that Kamal would play a historic figure who is of great importance to Tamils. When approached Kamal with the subject, he just lapped up the offer, Mysskin said. But the director refused to part with the details about the film and Kamal's role.
Mysskin disclosed that the script of the film has not yet been completed. The period film would be shot in authentic locations as much as possible. The director said that he is still researching the subject, which deals with the Buddhist principle 'dharma'.
