'Golden Star' Ganesh, whose name was recently linked to remakes of films such as '16 Vayadinale' and 'Khushi', is all set to feature in a remake of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.
Producer H A Rehman, who has remade films like 'Sethu' and 'Vaanathaipola' in Kannada is all set to remake 'DDLJ' in Kannada. His first choice for the role of the hero is none other than Ganesh and insiders say, Ganesh has also reciprocated positively for this offer.
Dialogue writer Chintan would be directing this film. This film will be a launch pad for him as a director. The search for the heroine is on and insiders say that Kajol's sister Tanisha will be approached for the role of the heroine.
The film has been titled as 'Maduve Mane' and is said to go on floors in January.
