Silambarasan, who has completed his work in Gowtham Menon's 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya', has two big projects coming up.
He will star in the next project of Lingusamy's home production, to be directed by Bhoopathy Pandian. He has also signed up for a film by KV Anand, who directed Suriya starrer 'Ayan'.
The film by Anand will be a pukka potboiler in the mould of 'Ayan', say our sources in Kollywood. The yet to be titled film will have a socially relevant theme as well; 'Ayan' was made in the backdrop of drug trafficking.
'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya', in which Simbu pairs up with Trisha, is expected to release this Pongal. He will soon start shooting for 'Valiban', to be written and directed by himself.
