It seems Selvaraghavan's 'Ayirathil Oruvan', which has been in the making for the last three years, would have to wait longer before it could see the light of the day.
Though its producer Ravindran says that the film will hit cinemas this Pongal, the industry is sceptical about the statement.
The film, starring 'Paruthiveeran' Karthi and Reema Sen, went on the floors with a budget of Rs 7 crore. Soon, it jumped to Rs 12 crore and now it has snowballed to Rs 31 crore.
Ravindran claims that the film is almost complete and only the graphics portions are pending. But Kollywood insiders say much more is left and they could not be completed without the director, who is busy shooting for his Vikram starrer in Ladakh.
