After flops in ‘Yogi’, ‘Preethse Preethse’ and ‘Mr Painter’, Yogeesh aka Yogi is back with ‘Raavana’.
This is his first remake; the film is a version of Tamil hit 'Kaadhal Kondein', which starred Dhanush and Sonia Agarwal in the lead.
The story explores the mind of a youth who is mentally and physically abused in his childhood. The lack of a mother's love haunts the protagonist throughout the film.
Yogi, who is dubbed as the Dhanush of the Kannada films, plays the psychopath, Sanchitha Padukone reprises Sonia Agarwal's role.
Yogeesh Hunsoor, who has 13 films to his credit as a director, is back to direction after a long gap. Uday K Mehta and Mohan G Nayak are the producers. Abhiman G Roy is the music director. Songs like 'Chakli Nippat Thindkondu' have already become chartbusters. Giri is the cameraman.
'Raavana' will hit the screens on the 4th of December.
