Sameera Reddy will play the female lead in Mohanlal’s 'Casanova', directed by Roshhan Andrews. The project, which has been in the backburner for long due to various reasons, will begin in Dubai on January 5, 2010.
There are three heroines in the film, the other two being Lakshmi Rai and Roma. However, Sameera has a pivotal role in the film, says sources close to the director.
Sameera, known for her glamour and dancing skills, sprung a pleasant surprise with her brilliant performance in Gowtham Menon's 'Vaaranam Aayiram'. Now, she gets another opportunity to rub shoulders with one of the finest actors in Indian film industry.
