The release of 'Bodyguard', starring Dileep and Nayantara in the lead, has been postponed.
The producer, Johnny Sagarika, had plans to release the film on December 11. But due to a rush of big Christmas releases, including Mammootty's 'Chattambinadu', Mohanlal starrer 'Ivide Swargam Aanu' and Vijay's 'Vettaikaran', all main centres were found blocked and the producer had no other option than to postpone the release of his film. As of now, the film will be releasing on January 21.
The Siddique film is likely to find another Dileep starrer releasing on the same day. Kamal-directed 'Aagathan' had plans to release during Christmas, but the makers had magnanimously consented to push the release of their film to January. It seems highly unlikely that 'Aagathan' makers would oblige Johnny Sagarika again.
That would mean that the release of 'Bodyguard' would have to wait further.
