Actress Ramya Walks out of a Movie!

Ramya finds herself in yet another controversy. This time, she has walked out of Prakash Raj's 'Naanu Nanna Kanasu', making way for Amulya.

Ramya was supposed to reprise the role played by Trisha in the remake of Tamil hit 'Abhiyum Naanum'. She had participated in the launch party held on November 21. Just when the shooting was about to begin, Ramya backed out of the project, citing remuneration problems. Ramya is the highest paid actress in Kannada, with a remuneration of Rs 30 lakh per film. Prakash Raj refused to pay not more than Rs 16 lakh and that was why she bid adieu to the film, say Sandalwood insiders.

Though Prakash Raj or co-producer B Suresha was not available for comment, B Suresha's wife Shylaja Nag said that remuneration was not the main issue. "Her attitude and approach were not good. She was supposed to turn up for shooting today morning but she didn't make it to the location. Even her costumer's flight tickets were also booked. So, we decided to drop her from the project," Shylaja says.
