Director Mahesh Sukhadhare, who was recuperating after a near fatal accident which occurred two years ago, is back with 'Malebille'.
This romantic film stars newcomers Akshay and Prajna in the lead.
Mahesh Sukhadhare says the film was inspired by an incident in his own life. "When I was bed-ridden for more than a year, I fell into depression. I got out of it after reading about the lives of Mahatma Gandhi and others. The recent times have witnessed a spate of suicides. I am trying to tell that suicide or death is not the ultimate and we can overcome any problems with self confidence and determination," says Sukhadhare.
Manikanth Kadri, who has scored music to films such as 'Ganesha', 'Mr Garagasa', and 'Savaari', wields the baton. He says he had also fell into depression when his efforts went unnoticed after 'Ganesha'. However he came back with Sukhadhare as his inspiration.
Diganth plays a cameo in this film; Doddanna, Sharan, Ramakrishna, Komal and Sangeetha are among the cast. Cinetech Suri is the cameraman.
